One of my favorite balance exercises, the Pendulum. I love this one because you can feel it working from your foot all the way up into your hips, and even shoulder! So it’s a great multi-joint involving exercise where the smaller muscles are being activated. Simply wrap a resistance band around a kettle bell, dumbbell, or even a gallon of water or milk, keep your elbow locked at 90 degrees, relax your shoulder, slightly move to weight to get it started then let the momentum of the weight take over. Look at the lower leg on the side view, you can see the muscles working to keep me balanced.
